For us, ensuring that they are well taken care of is just part of what constitutes as holistic support. They also need to feel that they can grow and develop skills that allow them to be independent and have healthy relationships with other people and their communities.
Respect is also an integral part of our services. This is why we treat our clients and their parents as our partners in addressing their daily needs and listen to their opinions about their care. Apart from their families, we also work with other care professionals to promote their overall well-being.
About the Owner
I am Rosenora A. Valcin, the founder and CEO of Peace of Mind Homecare Solutions of the Palm Beaches, LLC. I am currently a nursing student at Palm Beach State College in Lake Worth, Florida. I fell in love with the disabled population when my two precious boys: Nate and Zach were diagnosed with ASD in early 2014. Despite the uncertainty the diagnosis brought, I did not give up hope. I went on to create a group called “Fighting for autism awareness and acceptance” where I helped more than 200 families to get services for their children on the spectrum. I am a very dedicated woman who is willing to do whatever it takes to help individuals that are affected by all kinds of disabilities.
When my boys were first diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder, I struggled to find good agencies with reliable caregivers I could trust with them. I have been getting services from one agency to another until I felt helpless. Therefore, I decided to create Peace of Mind Homecare Solutions of the Palm Beaches, LLC to serve children and adults on the waiver and non-waiver alike. I know having a child with any disability or live with it is a long and uncertain journey no one wishes to have. However, my agency is committed to providing you with the peace of mind needed to live a fulfilling and productive life while caring for yourself, a child, or a family member with a disability. Peace of Mind Homecare Solutions of the Palm Beaches, LLC is a world-class agency with excellent professionals and caregivers who can walk in your shoes and understand your pain.
Before starting Peace of Mind Homecare Solutions of the Palm Beaches, LLC, I have been involved in various organizations in the community and a fierce advocate on behalf of folks with disabilities. Also, I have been the Vice-President of Stand-up for people with autism, Inc.
